This artwork is part of Endless’ magazine series, where the artist gathers genuine headlines from a variety of juxtaposing publications and creates a unique composition with a central figure and title, in the style of a magazine cover. The central image depicts Endless’ iconic ‘Crotch Grab’ figure, which is a rework of the classic 90’s advertising campaign featuring Mark Wahlberg. The image, which Endless originally displayed on the streets of London, comments on the ‘sex sells’ attitude and general vulgarity of the advertising industry, with the military style hat playing on how ‘the ultimate man’ is portrayed in modern media. The image was adopted by a testicular cancer awareness campaign in 2015 and was later featured in an artwork by the legendary art duo, Gilbert and George. Most recently, in February 2021, an artwork featuring this image was acquired by the Uffizi Galleries, making Endless the first street-artist in history to have work added to the Florentine museum’s collection. Endless created this piece with acrylic and spray paint and the use of hand- cut stencils.
